Buccaneers TE Rob Gronkowski has made the decision to retire for the second time in his career. Those who thought Gronk would play for the Buccaneers this season are in shock as he has decides to hand up the cleats. One such person who is surprised to know that the TE is finally retiring is his former teammate, Ndamukong Suh.

Suh in the show said“I really thought he would, but it makes a lot of sense. I think he wants to retire and enjoy his life as he’s been throughout this offseason, but really have an opportunity to say, let me pause, let me really see how the team goes, and then maybe consider coming back or really just stay retired.”

Ndamukong Suh, a free agent, he talked about the experience of playing with Rob Gronkowski on the same team. Suh said, “From a teammate standpoint, excellent, fun-loving, a lot of energy. Obviously, that’s what he’s known for when it comes from a teammate perspective and actually playing, he brings in that grit and grinds and he’s a red-zone threat, moving the chains.”

Gronkowski has always been known to be that fun-loving guy. But when it comes to playing football, he puts all his focus and energy into winning the game.

Moreover, Suh thinks Gronk has excellently done his job as a tight end in his eleven years of NFL career. Suh started his NFL career with Detroit Lions in 2010 and played five seasons for them. After playing for Miami Dolphins for three years and Los Angeles Rams for one year, he joined Buccaneers in 2019.

DT Ndamukong Suh played his three seasons for the Buccaneers and had built a special relationship with Rob Gronkowski. Suh believes Gronk’s decision to retire was his own choice, and he should now focus on enjoying his life.

In this season, two key members of the Buccaneers’ offense have retired. In February, guard Ali Marpet had also announced his retirement. For the Bucs, it would have been a nightmare, if Tom Brady had not made his decision to make a comeback after his short retirement.
