“The 4 Best Coaches Aren’t There, Why Should We Care?”: NFL Twitter Rips Into The NFL Coaches Annual Group Photo

The NFL franchise owners and head coaches of all the 32 teams recently had their annual meeting and a photo to remember the occasion. The meeting has become a traditional part of the annual calendar and is the first picture of the new batch of coaches. The photo, however, was missing some of the elder statesman coaches of the league like Bill Belichick, Bruce Arians, Dan Campbell, and Mike McCarthy.

The photo features 9 new head coaching hires for this season along with Super Bowl-winning head coach Sean McVay. It was touted to be similar and equivalent to the historic painting of ‘The Last Supper’ in more than just the visuals. As there remains a certainty that the coaches will be change almost every season. Since 2019, we have season major coaching changes almost every season.

The outfits worn by each of the head coaches also came under the scrutiny of the NFL fans. It was a meeting of the old guard with the new guard, which had a jolly feeling on the outside. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter even shared a tweet that challenged NFL fans to recognize the standing positions of head coaches.

Where did the veteran NFL coaches go?

The reasons remain unknown for the four veteran head coaches, who were absent from the annual group photo in Florida. A possibility for Mike McCarthy’s unavailability could be plainly concerning the pre-draft scouting of the prospects. The 2022 NFL Draft remains only a month away, and Cowboys will be looking to gain any and every advantage.

While speculation has been rife about all the 4 senior head coaches, the NFL offseason has only further affected their strategies. The big trade moves in both conferences across divisions have thrown a spanner into works among franchises.

The 2022 NFL campaign appears ever closer, and the challenge will be to strike first and strike hard. The first step towards their road to Super Bowl goes through the upcoming NFL Draft. The smiling faces standing together will not be happy with the other when it will comes to strictly business.
