DK Metcalf has been vocal regarding his self -proclamation for the ‘Fastest man in NFL’ title. Tyreek Hill also laid out massive challenges to some of the Track and Run legends, most notably Usain Bolt. While Metcalf continues to pursue a physical performance that would let him compete in the 2024 Olympics, the race versus Tyreek Hill is currently round the blocks.

DK Metcalf is one of the NFL’s most physically imposing wideouts, and he can outpace anybody and everybody. The 24-year-old also believes he can compete in a sprint with probably the league’s fastest player. Shannon Sharpe questions Metcalf on whether he could overtake Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill during his interview on the Club Shay Shay podcast.

Sharpe gave Hill 48 hours to answer Metcalf’s remark, but Cheetah responded in less than 15 minutes. Hill challenged Metcalf to a race, supplying a $50,000 wager on the line. The winnings go to whichever charitable organization the winning party chooses. He further implied that Metcalf was terrified, claiming that he had receipts for their direct messages to back up his claim.

Tyreek Hill vs. DK Metcalf: A must-see match-up?

The Hill vs. Metcalf challenge has been in the mix ever since the offseason began when the Seahawks WR proclaim himself as the ‘Fastest of All’ in an interview with TMZ Sports. He got the Cheetah’s attention when he claimed he can smoke him out on a race. With the power of social media, the NFL fans feel the sprint challenge is very desirable, and they would love to see the speedsters dash.

The race for $50,000 would be an exhilarating experience, and some television channels would really be wise to secure the rights towards it. Both of them put on spectacular displays in the Combine, with Cheetah blazing a 4.29 and 4.68 for DK in the 40-yard run. Metcalf has the modest benefit of being four years Hill’s younger, but he is battling a toe injury. So, will fans get to see Tyreek and DK race? Time will only tell.
