In the NFL’s coaching world, Bill Belichick remains one of the best minds. He was one of the prime reasons to help make the Patriots Super Bowl worthy alongside Tom Brady. Sometimes he becomes a subject of scrutiny among the fans for his strategy and maneuvers. But Cowboys Legend Jimmy Johnson believes it is a plan against the New England HC.

Jimmy Johnson mentions during his appearance on ‘The Herd’, “Let’s look at it this way. When Josh McDaniels left and they brought in defensive guys and Patricia was working with the offense, all the media said, “Oh, there’s going to be a problem,” and so they watched practice and they see one dropped ball. And they said, “Oh, I told you there’s going to be a problem. That offense is out of sync,” and so.”

During ‘The Herd‘ with Colin Cowherd, Jimmy Johnson answers regarding the media scrutinizing Bill Belichick and the Patriots struggling at the preseason training. But Johnson believes there is something that is cooking up in the media. That being, an agenda against the legendary Pats coach.

“You know, the media was looking for a problem, so they found it. Now, are they going to get better? Are they going to address their concerns? I don’t think there’s a concern with Bill Belichick. There may be a concern with the media… So I think Belichick has a handle on what they’re doing.”

One cannot deny that Bill Belichick has the eyes which can hunt gold out of the coal. That is how he got his grips on some of the NFL’s top athletes. Be it Rob Gronkowski, Tom Brady, or Julian Edelman. He picked up massive success by having them on the team and helping them progress. Picking them up from way down the draft and gradually making legends. Now whether he recognizes such talent or actually builds it is the secret sauce that the tight lipped coach will never let out.

Bill Belichick ready & Mac Jones confident in Patriots’ offense

The new New England Patriots offense did not seem to interest the media. Hardly anyone predicts a new offensive strategy to be grasped on the first try. Developing a new skill is never easy, and it takes time. But Patriots’ QB1 is confident on the revamped scheme.

Mac Jones stated during camp via ESPN that they will sort it out like they always did and will continue to do. At the end of the day, any new venture will have difficulties, but Jones thinks they are close on many fronts. Jones’ comments came the day after the offense had what was perhaps their worst training, with various malfunctions. Remains to be seen what happens with this new found positivity by Mac Jones, converting it to the field will be a big big challenge with that O-line.
