During his college days, he represented the University of Miami. Dwayne Johnson was an excellent defensive player for his team. However, multiple injuries ruined his chances of making it to the big stage.
One man’s loss is another man’s gain as a teammate of Johnson was able to achieve what he wanted to achieve. Warren Sapp, the legendary NFL player, was a teammate of Dwayne Johnson. Notably, it was at the expense of The Rock himself.

The player who made it to the league from Dwayne’s team was the former Bucs DT Warren Sapp. Drafted in 1995 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sapp became one of their best-ever draft picks.
As Miami teammates one of these players went on to become Super Bowl Champion, Defensive Player of the Year, All Pro, All Decade.
And the other only became famous for wearing a fanny pack and turtle necks.

Sapp was a Super Bowl winner with the Bucs. Notably, he was also the defensive player of the year in 1999. Apart from these, he had multiple accolades and is considered among the best defensive players.
