The 94th Academy Awards sported a particular situation that people never saw coming. It did not just shake the entertainment sector. It shook the entire world. The aftermath of the shocking events at this year’s Academy awards still seems to be ongoing even after all these days. Several people and celebrities have expressed their opinion about the incident as well. Some believe that Will Smith simply stood up against the jokes made over his wife’s health condition. Others, however, feel that the incident was absolutely unnecessary.

When did Will Smith-Gridiron coincide

In a video originally posted on Well Off Media’s YouTube channel, One of Jackson State Tigers’ football coaches makes the trainee athletes aware of their new Linebackers’ technique for the QB rush. They titled the maneuver “The Will Smith Technique.” Deion Sanders Jr., son of current Jackson State Tigers HC Deion Sanders, has tweeted the video.

The coach calls that unlike the actor using the palm of his hands instead of his fingers. The coach uses a shove to the chest, a palm smack, which he calls ‘The Will Smith,’ and then hit a rip. This will help them make a sack effectively.

Moreover, Deion Sanders, the Jackson State HC, went behind the camera and asked his players and management during training on Tuesday. “If you were Chris Rock, how would you have handled the smack?

A coach remarked that he’d deal with it the same way Rock did. Someone else said that he isn’t sure if he could take that smack on national television. While a few others speculated that things may have gotten out of hand.

A slap that startled the NFL world

Until now, Hollywood hasn’t avoided speaking about the Slapgate incident. And the NFL-verse was baffled by this as well. NFL veterans and athletes such as Deion Sanders, Patt McAfee, Chandler Jones, Ja Morant, and Stephen A. Smith have been reacting to the occurrence since it aired live on television.

It’s hard to predict what most of us would do in that scenario since it is certainly a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence, plus Rock seemed clearly taken aback by Smith’s acts. He was already on national tv in front of millions around the world, and he needed to act promptly since matters could become very unpleasant quite rapidly. By remaining calm and not panicking, Rock may have protected both his and Smith’s future.
