“The Worst QB”: Dejected Kirk Cousins Faces Vikings Fans’ Backlash For Glaring Error

Kirk Cousins may find himself trying very hard to catch a good night’s sleep after the Vikings‘ 24-31 loss to the Giants. Minnesota has been accused of being lucky all season. And when the time came for them to prove that they were worthy of their standing, the Vikings choked.

Despite surviving the Giants during their last face-off on Christmas Eve, their marginal success could not be repeated. Kirk Cousins, for one, took the brunt of criticism from the NFL world. One particular Hall of Famer took to Twitter to express his disappointment and unbelief.

Shannon Sharpe is often seen delivering sharp-witted critiques of players that may or may not align with the consensus. But this time, there’s no doubt many in the NFL world were feeling the same.

Towards the end of the game, Cousins threw a short but completed pass that was far from the end zone. Instead of going big, Cousins made a surprising decision. The pass isn’t how the QB was expected to end the game. With everything on the line, this wasn’t what was expected. The pass wasn’t the only bad decision from the QB. The last quarter was crucial for Minnesota, but the QB could not put on a show when it mattered the most. Sharpe took to Twitter to say, WTF KIRK. Why would you throw that short of the sticks?
. It seems like he echoed what most in the NFL were thinking.

As it turns out, Sharpe was not the only one rolling his eyes at the choice of play from the QB. NFL fans were quick to express their frustrations and bewilderment.

While Minnesota started off hot, the Giants kept up and overtook them soon enough. After a rather good regular season, this was perhaps the most inopportune game to choke. The Vikings’ season came to an unfortunate end in front of a very excited home crowd. After a decent run to the playoffs, this was far from one of the quarterback’s brightest moments.
