The Buccaneers QB has been able to extract the best out of many of his teammates. Players like former Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown and current running back Leonard Fournette were troublemakers before playing with him.

During a recent episode of FS1’s UNDISPUTED Show, Bayless, a self-proclaimed Brady fan, praises him, stating, “This is why I believe he has become the greatest leader in the history of sports. Because I mean Antonio Brown won a Super Bowl With Tom Brady. And now that you look back on it, the odds against it were enormous. They clicked, they bonded, and Tom Brady was able to show Antonio this is how you do it.”

He believes Brady’s influence was key in helping Brown overcome his long hurdle in winning a Super Bowl title. Bayless adds that their partnership worked pretty well before Brown’s ‘walk-off‘ in Week 17 last season. The analyst believes the focus for the Buccaneers QB is now shifting to RB Leonard Fournette.

How was Tom Brady able to extract the best out of Leonard Fournette?
Despite the No.4 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Fournette was gaining a reputation of being a troublemaker with the Jacksonville Jaguars. During his time as the then-Jaguars RB, he drew the ire of the management for his poor behavior and attitude. He was eventually let go by the franchise in 2020 while signing with the Buccaneers organization that season.

Bayless believes that Fournette went through the AB treatment with Brady. The 7-time Super Bowl champion took him under his wing while forming a formidable partnership. He adds that Brady was able to extract the best out of him by transforming Fournette into ‘Playoff Lenny.’

The upcoming NFL campaign will present another opportunity for the pair. They still possess the same synergy as they look to win yet another Super Bowl title. The Buccaneers fans will be counting on Brady again to lead them to the promised land in 2022, which could potentially be his final NFL campaign.
