Throughout the offseason, the San Francisco 49ers faced a quarterback quandary. There was also the Deebo Samuel drama, which caused concern among Niners fans. But the NFC West team flouted all entanglements to capture the division title. Brock Purdy has become the man of the hour, but he made sure to heap praise on Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance for the franchise’s success.

Brock Purdy acknowledges all the franchise QBs

Brock Purdy mentioned, “Honestly, man, I don’t think Jimmy and Trey get enough credit for what they’ve done. I’m just now coming on the scene where these guys have been here, throughout the offseason for Trey, and Jimmy coming in and leading these guys, and winning… So a big credit to Jimmy and Trey for what they’ve done, especially in the quarterback room, for the team, and I’m just trying to do my part in terms of where we’re at now in the season. So definitely not all praise to Brock and what Brock’s done. Those guys, they deserve all the credit.”

Brock Purdy went into full-on beast mode after going 17 for 26 with 217 yards. He also had two scores, both connecting with George Kittle. Christian McCaffrey aced the run game with one rushing touchdown.
