Aaron Rodgers is an enigma in the NFL world. The fans know little about the star QB’s family and his history with them. What most people do know is that Rodgers is not on speaking terms with them. But what exactly happened and what triggered the fued? According to an old report, it has something to do with the QB’s ex-girlfriend Olivia Munn.

Aaron Rodgers and actress Olivia Munn started dating each other in 2014. And according to many, that may have been the start of the family feud that goes on to this day. Soon after the relationship between the Green Bay Packers QB and ‘The Newsroom’ star began, the Rodgers family reportedly tried to warn him about his new girlfriend.
“His family told him they didn’t trust her and thought she wasn’t with him for the right reasons. That made him furious, and he ended up choosing Olivia over his family,” an insider told ‘Us Weekly’ in 2017.

According to more recent reports, Rodgers might have started speaking again with his brother Jordan Rodgers, whose appearance on ‘The Bachelorette’ first brought up the issue. So while the QB figures out a way to leave the Packers, he has already taken steps to mend some bridges in the family.

Aaron Rodgers is leaving the Packers after serving the franchise for 18 seasons. But his move to the New York Jets is still up in the air. The Jets want him in their bid to compete in the postseason for the first time since the 2010 season. Rodgers too has accepted the Jets challenge, but the move is still not final.

The Jets and the Packers are still ironing out the details of a trade deal involving the four-time NFL MVP. Green Bay wanted a first-round pick to come their way in the deal but that is no longer the case.
