“They Do Not Want to Win”- Jamal Adams Slams the New York Jets for Their Approach in NFL

Jamal Adams, the strong safety for the Seattle Seahawks and the former safety for the New York Jets, recently brought his unpleasant experience with the New York Jets to light.
Currently recovering from a shoulder injury in the middle of a 2-game skid, Jamal seems pretty content with calling the CenturyLink Field home.
Jamal made the shift from the New York Jets to the Seattle Seahawks earlier this year in July. Adams admitted that in hindsight the trade that he was a part of was a great source of peace to him.

He seemed thrilled at the prospect of stepping onto the field, having donned the iconic silver and blue; much more so when compared to his experience with the New York Jets.
Jamal further opened up about a phase in his life when he suffered from depression. He also shed some light on how worried his father was for him while he was undergoing depression with the New York Jets.
He talked all about it on the ‘All Things Covered‘ podcast. He described this one night when he came home after losing a game and just in a dark room without the television or a phone.

His dad hated to see him like that. His dad called his agent at the time and said, “Hey man, I don’t like seeing my son like this. I need him out of this situation.”
“It took a toll on my life outside of football,” said Jamal Adams in the podcast.
“They do not want to win. Let’s be honest, the Jets were the laughingstock. This is how the NFL is supposed to be (talking about the present as a member of the Seattle Seahawks). This is the dream I was dreaming.”

Amidst all the angst, Adam had this wish that would bring life to the New York Jets, and not only that, he was very much ready to make a long-term deal in order to do so.
But that wish could never come true, for they disrespected him a lot. On looking back at the days when he was a safety for the New York Jets, he realized his love for the game wasn’t being fulfilled because the Jets were constantly busy reconstructing themselves.
