The reigning Super Bowl Champion Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the top prospects in free agency, and not to mention plenty of teams are ready to sign the wide receiver. However, his former team Los Angeles Rams are the front runners, and their recent gesture shows how committed they are when it comes to OBJ.

Only a few days are left for the regular season to kick off, and the teams are getting ready to put on a show. Per recent reports, the Rams locker room has dedicated a special section for their former player Odell Beckham Jr. with his name on it. “The Rams kept a full locker – plus nameplate – open for Odell Beckham Jr in their locker room at Thousand Oaks,” The Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue said.

The LSU product was one of the strongest players in the wide receiver room for the Rams last season, and his gameplay was one of the reasons why the Sean McVay-led side clinched the title.

Last year, the Rams signed OBJ from the Browns. He made 27 catches for 305 yards and five touchdowns in eight games, and in the postseason, he recorded two touchdowns for 21 catches for 288 yards. However, fate sent him back into the locker room after tearing his ACL in the Super Bowl match. He recently underwent surgery and is slowly rehabilitating from the injuries.

The wideout is not expected to take on the field before October this year. Thus, any team opting for him needs to consider this situation as well. His presence in a single game will make up for the loss the team had incurred in the past.

As of now, the Los Angeles Rams are the top contenders to bait for the wide receiver. And this recent gesture of theirs validates the theory even more. It took no time for this news to turn like wildfire. One user made a crazy statement on OBJ’s team selection.

Another fan was hoping to have OBJ on the side.

This desperate fan was eagerly waiting to welcome back the king.

A few weeks ago, many reports suggested that the Buccaneers might sign the free agent. However, with the inclusion of Julio Jones, the chances have faded. The Packers were next on the list, but the franchise seems to have enough talent. On September 9th, the Rams will first take on Buffalo Bills in the season opener. Even if not in week 1, will the Rams bring back OBJ anytime soon?
