Von Miller has seen the face of success and adversity during his 11 seasons with the Denver Broncos. He enjoyed his days with the Broncos when they went to five consecutive playoff seasons between 2011 and 2015. After which they finally claimed the Lombardi Trophy in the 2015 season.

However, then followed a period of downfall for Miller and his team. The Broncos finished each of their last four seasons, recording below 500 percentile. But nothing much was changed for the linebacker after he got signed by the Rams this season. At least not for the first two games when the Rams went on a three-game losing streak.

However, since then, the Rams have been fiery in their approach and deadly in their form. And now they are about to end their season after clinching the division with a five-game winning streak. Nevertheless, after experiencing a period of similar adversity with the Broncos and the Rams, Miller noticed how differently the two teams acted upon losing games.

“They just got a formula,” Miller added. “We come in, we do our stuff, we go home. And we trust our guys. We trust the stars on the team. We trust the foundational players. We trust the coaches. And honestly, we just come in and we do the exact same thing. When we were losing, we were doing the exact same thing. And when we’re winning, we have the same exact mindset that we’ve had these eight weeks that I’ve been here. So it’s been very consistent whether we win or lose.”
