There will be action on the golf course as the 4-NFL quarterbacks will play the 6th edition of ‘The Match’. Buccaneers QB Tom Brady will team up with Packers QB Aaron Rodgers to face Bills QB Josh Allen and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. The match has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 6:30 PM EST.

The four players had a friendly interview in which they had been asked questions about their favorite NFL players, video games, and songs. The video posted by Bleacher Report has some funny moments as the 4-players are seen poking each other. It’s good to see the players enjoying a friendly chat before they face each other on the golf course.

The first question was to Aaron Rodgers. He was asked, which social media app he checks first while opening his phone? Aaron replied, “probably Instagram. It used to be Twitter when Twitter was fun. Pat, I’m sure, is a big Tik-Toker. It runs in the family.” Aaron chose Instagram, as he thinks Twitter has become boring. He also talks about Patrick Mahomes and his love for TikTok. He is sarcastically referring to Patrick’s brother Jackson Mahomes who has over 3.5 million TikTok followers.

Now the fun part starts with the video games. When asked about their favorite video games, Tom Brady did not have an answer. Rodgers and Allen were quick enough to make fun of the aging Brady. While A-Rod said Brady never played video games, Josh compared him to a caveman and said they didn’t have video games back then.

In the interview, all the players revealed the first jersey they bought while saving on their allowances. Tom Brady and Aaron had Jerry Rice, who was a popular WR for San Francisco. Aaron also mentioned he would have loved to have a Joe Montana jersey when he was young. While Josh Allen couldn’t recall his first jersey, Patrick’s favorite player was Dez Bryant. 

The video ended with the players talking about their favorite songs. Patrick listened to Tyga, Josh loved Grenade by Bruno Mars, and Rodgers used to vibe to Tupac, Garth Brooks, and County Crows.

Since ‘The Match’ was announced, we have seen the four QBs comment on each other, thus creating a competitive atmosphere before the game starts on June 1. ‘The Match’ will be played at Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas this year. The game will be in a 12-hole match-play format. Each hole’s winner receives one point, while the loser receives none. Also, each team will receive a half a point if the hole is halved.
