In the fast-paced world of Hollywood, projects come and go, sometimes taking longer than expected to see the light of day. Over 13 years ago, the NFL world was excited to hear that legendary actor Robert De Niro had been cast by ESPN and NFL Films to star as the leading actor in the highly anticipated documentary feature film on the great football coach, Vince Lombardi. 

De Niro has since starred in many movies, and created many iconic roles, with his latest collaboration with the legendary Martin Scorcese, Killers of the Flower Moon, slated to come out this October. But as we still await the iconic actor to star in the Lombardi biopic from over 13 years ago, De Niro revealed a highly personal wish.

De Niro recently became a father once again, at the age of 79, and is relishing the joys of parenthood. The legendary actor announced in April that he and his girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, welcomed a beautiful daughter named Gia Virginia Chen De Niro. But De Niro revealed that his latest family member, now 2 months old, is yet to meet any of her elder siblings.
