Aaron Rodgers, at 39, is still going strong and showing no signs of slowing down. He’s a force to be reckoned with on the field and knows how to stay ahead of the game. Even when his opponents try to bring him down, the New York Jets quarterback has a few tricks up his sleeve that keep him on top. After 13 years in the NFL, his unwavering determination and grit are the secret to his success. So, how does he do it all, especially at his age?

As the new season approaches, Rodgers is getting serious and leaving the party behind. He’s been working hard with his teammates to prepare for the upcoming season. During the offseason and OTAs, he’s been focused on training and getting to know his new surroundings and teammates. He recently posted an impressive double update, which has amazed his fans.

Exciting news for Gang Green fans! Thanks to his coach, Robert Saleh, Aaron Rodgers has been taking a well-deserved break from the offseason training. But as the NFL’s top-level quarterback, he is all set to begin his 19th campaign next season, and his performances and physique continue to impress, thus solidifying his position as one of the best QBs in the league. Since he needs to focus on his core to improve, he has always hit the gym with a mixed workout that includes leg raises, holding planks, and dynamic sports.

Recently, his IG fans were in awe as he double-posted his pistol squats with Pro-active for some “Off-season snaps! #WhatAreYouCapableOf.” And this is not the first time this season that Jets #QB1 has shown an insight into his fitness. Earlier this month, Proactive shared an Instagram post featuring Kevin Durant and A-Rod working together at the gym. The post captioned, “When two MVPs walk into the gym….#WhatAreYouCapableOf”. Durant and Rodgers posed for a picture together while holding hands after what appeared to be a rigorous workout. Both athletes were visibly sweaty from their training sessions. Now that’s what you call an off-season appearance, don’t you?

Rodgers has often been very transparent about his fitness, leading him to be featured cover of the Men’s Journal. He also told Men’s Health about it and shared his recent exercise, “I started squatting again in 2019. Getting under a bar and squatting was really important for me to get my legs back and my balance back, strength back, and flexibility back. That’s probably been the most important exercise I’ve added to my routine.” Though, will it give results in the upcoming season for the Jets? That’s something to look out for after a tough 2022 season.

What are the Jets getting with Aaron Rodgers?

The New York Jets have acquired Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers, which means they now have the best quarterback in franchise history, at least in theory. However, it’s not saying much for Gang Green, considering the low bar set by previous quarterbacks like Joe Namath, Richard Todd, and Mark Sanchez. Though, A-Rod could be the missing piece for the Jets’ quarterback puzzle! It’s no secret that the Jets have struggled in that position, but adding Rodgers would change the game, at least hypothetically.

With Rodgers’ 2022 season, his numbers are well below what NFL analysts have come to expect of him. Since he began his journey as a starter in 2008, he completed 350 out of 542 passes for 3,695 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. However, this year’s successful completion rate of 64.6% is the fifth-lowest among all his career starts. Notably, even his touchdown rate of 4.8% is his third-lowest, while his interception rate of 2.2% is his fourth-highest. Furthermore, he also has his lowest Adjusted Net Yards per Attempt at 5.95 and his lowest passer rating.
