While Tom Brady announced his retirement earlier this year, fans speculated that he can’t stay away from the game longer. Certainly, Brady made a comeback after a 40-days and started pursuing what he’s best at. However, Cyril Grayson from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers seems to have some great suggestions for Brady if he would have remained in his retirement.

The 28-year-old wide receiver has been a Buccaneer since 2019 and played alongside Brady in the absence of Antonio Brown on the roster. The former All-American track sprinter won his first Super Bowl title in 2021 with the Buccaneers and credited Brady for honing his receiving skills.

Cyril Grayson Jr. suggests retirement plans for Tom Brady

Grayson is one of the budding talents from the Buccaneers. Taking on Twitter, Grayson put forward some exciting plans for Brady, which he could have done in his retirement. “I golfed, and now I’m going boating @TomBrady retired life couldn’t have been that bad. This is life” Grayson said by tagging Brady on the tweet.

The star reminded Brady of some of his fantasies and claimed to have done all of these while staying active in the league. Fans were keen to hop into the discussion and asked him not to lure the veteran to retire again.

Soon the Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians stepped back from his position and moved to the front office, leaving the fans speculating possible friction between the quarterback and the coach. However, things seem to have settled now, and the players are busy practicing for the upcoming season. While Grayson found this as an opportunity and joked about Brady’s retirement.

Cyril Grayson is an emerging talent who evolved as a player under Brady

Grayson is one of those players in the NFL who entered the league with no prior experience of pro football during their college days. Interestingly, the WR was a student at LSU but only ran track for the Tigers during his time in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

He is a seven-time All-American and four-time national champion. His incredible speed and balance got him a place in the NFL in 2017. Although he went undrafted that year, he was immediately signed as a free agent by the Seattle Seahawks on April 10.

Grayson before playing for the Bucs in 2019, gave brief stints with the Chicago Bears and the New Orleans Saints. However, he claims that his skills were honed after he played with Brady and the Buccaneers.

“Then there was a moment where I kind of put my head down. In a way, defeated. As a man, he’s(Tom Brady) being too hard on me. But then, right after that, he came back and said, ‘The reason I’m so hard on you is that you have this talent. I just want to pull that out of you. I see that in you, and I just want you to see that in yourself.’”

Grayson disclosed his grooming sessions with Brady in a press conference for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Fans are expecting to see the Brady-Grayson combination again in the upcoming season.
