The teams kick-started to prepare for the training camps. This begins the new NFL season of 2022 which will start on September 8th. The training camps are up and running. While the season will bring out the wilderness and all kinds of excitement, the off-season was a crazy ride as well. From Tom Brady announcing his retirement and then unretiring to defense players dominating the drafts. It was a whirlwind. Just like that, the San Francisco 49ers have finally found their new quarterback, Trey Lance.

After the 49ers traded away their former quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo, they moved on to the younger talent. Someone on whom the franchise is putting a lot of its trust in.
Trey Lance has some big shoes to fill
On July 27th, it was announced on Twitter that the team welcomed Trey Lance, the new QB1. The head coach of the team, Kyle Shanahan, spoke highly of the young recruit. He said, “This is Trey’s team… Jimmy understands that fully… That’s a business decision, and that’s what makes it not awkward.”

The team has given permission to Jimmy G to find a trade partner. And believed in the entire offseason QB will find one. Moreover, Garoppolo is not planning to stick around for the 49ers training camp. Hence, the signal caller won’t have any presence in the facility before the season start. Plans regarding the future of the veteran shot caller and San Francisco is still unclear. For now, the Niners are committed to Trey Lance.
The HC of the team, Kyle Shanahan, spoke highly of Garoppolo. On The TK Show, the coach said, “We had an awesome run with Jimmy [Garoppolo]… I was so happy with how Jimmy played last year.”
The head coach of the team has been raving about the fresh and talented quarterback, Trey Lance. The new player is sure to show his skills. Fans are excited to get him on board as well. Do you think Lance is a perfect fit for the 49ers’ offense?
