When winning the Super Bowl titles becomes a euphoria, it becomes too difficult to taste the bitterness of losses. Former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is one such hungry wolf whose favorite ring from his entire career always happened to be the ” Next one!”. While the Patriots lost their Super Bowl matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018, it was a challenging moment for his kids to assimilate. However, Brady’s supermodel wife, Gisele Bündchen, consoled her kids with a motivating statement, which later turned out to be a focal point for criticism.

Although the Patriots jittered a bit with their performance and Brady missed one of the crucial passes, the team showcased one of its best performances. But the Eagles were smart enough to weigh the merits of the game, striking at the right point and coming out victorious.
Indeed, that game wrote history in the books of the Eagles for winning their first Super Bowl titles and NFL Championship since 1960. While it was a wholesome moment for the Philadelphia fans, Brady’s children were busy wiping their tears.

However, Bündchen turned the Super Bowl LII loss into a teaching moment. “They haven’t won in a million years,’’ Bündchen said to her kids.
While her eight-year-old son Benjamin and daughter Vivian wept, Brady’s eldest son John remained stoic. “Their whole life, they never won a Super Bowl. You have to let someone else win sometimes. …We have to share. Sharing is caring. Just this time. Daddy won five times. They never won before.’’ Bündchen said to her kids.

Suddenly, their sad faces got lifted by Gronk’s arrival and Brady accompanying him. After consoling the kids and his wife, Brady went to the locker room and attended a brief press conference.
With Anti-Tom Brady slogans, fans roasted Gisele Bündchen for imparting the wrong message
Although it seemed fair for a few sections, the Eagles followers were unhappy with Bündchen’s comments. They believe the team has won the Super Bowl with their hard work and not because of Brady’s sympathy or frivolous gameplay.
This user says that nobody lets anybody win.
Nobody "Let" anybody else win. It was taken from them. Nick Foles CAN throw the ball AND catch the ball.

While this user said the Eagles outplayed the team.
Better to say, “they outplayed us and we congratulate them on their win. We will look forward to another season and maybe another chance next year.” The term “letting them win” sounds elitist. #superbowl

This fan believes the team won with their sheer determination.
I would like it better if it didn’t say let. I know it’s nitpicking, but NE didn’t let them win. They won fair from hard work and determination.

Another fan asked to be careful while using the words.
Didn't realize Tom 'let' them win, he should lose his job if that's the case, eh?? Careful what & how you say..

This user shared an alternate piece of advice for the kids.
Would have been nice if she used the message “we can’t always win in life but if we’ve done our best we should still be proud”.

However, this Tiffany supported Gisele.
Misleading quote. She was trying to comfort her crying children and teach them how to be good losers. She then congratulated the Eagles players she saw. Anyone criticizing her here is willfully ignorant.
