The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB skipped the Met Gala this year. But Mahomes made a stellar appearance alongside his wife Brittany and stole the show. He was the one who represented the NFL in Brady’s absence.

After the Gala, the Chiefs QB1 made his way to Churchill Downs for the 149th edition of the Kentucky Derby. And the horse racing community bestowed a special honor on Mahomes. A rare duty that only a few in the football fraternity have enjoyed before.

The two-time Super Bowl champion gave the traditional ‘Riders Up’ call at the run for the roses. And he looked at home carrying his stardom in the world’s most famous horse racing event.

This week, it was time for Mahomes to pay a visit to the Miami GP

Mahomes looked at home again, this time in the F1 circuit, during the Miami Grand Prix. He met the Red Bull team on the track, before watching them dominate the race. Just after meeting him, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez got a 1-2 finish. Mahomes even tried lifting one of the Red Bull cars. Looks like the 27-year-old is in the mood for adventures this offseason. And what adventure could be more appealing than being the face of the league you once dreamed of just playing in? Especially when your charm is working on everyone you come across.

Brady hasn’t been in the public much since his retirement while Mahomes is attending two events a day. So the baton has likely been passed. Officially. Now that he’s already caught up to being the brand ambassador, the only thing left for Mahomes to claim is the five remaining Lombardis.
