This has inspired many to call upon the Rodgers Chain Squad to find its feet amongst the Jets, which would add another member in fellow signing, Mecole Hardman. In light of the momentum the trend has generated, the Jets owner found it a little too hard to resist joining the club. But before he is officially inducted, he has to get past one of his players standing in the way.

Hardman gatekeeping the Aaron Rodgers club

New York Jets owner, Woody Johnson has given into the temptation of joining the Jets chain club which started off with Aaron Rodgers. While the owner may be on the finer side of the age scale, he has kept up with trends and his players in the dressing room. The latest trend set in the Jets building was one he knew he had to get himself involved in. But he found out that Mahomes‘ former teammate was standing in his way of the club.

In the Instagram handle of the heir to the Johnson and Johnson corporation, he revealed he had been inducted into the Chain Club. Woody Johnson posted his confirmed induction with the caption, “@mecolehardman4 said I could join the chain squad.” The post would boast the pictures of the members before him, Sauce Gardner, and the new signings A-Rod and Hardman.

The post on Woody’s Insta handle would attract the eyes of many, along with some humorous comments. Woody’s post would also attract the eye of one of the members of the chain club. Their comment would ultimately confirm and seal the induction of his boss into the newest trend in the NFL.

Johnson’s post invites a reply from Hardman himself

The Jets’ newest WR, Mecole Hardman would confirm Woody as the newest member of the Jets Chain Squad. He commented on his boss’s post and announced the arrival of the 4th member of the Jets Chain Squad. The former Chiefs WR commented, “Welcome to the family”, confirming the latest trend to spawn in the NFL. But it all started with a friendly gesture from one of the top CBs on the Jets roster, Sauce Gardner.

Gardner would present the chain to his new QB as a gesture of togetherness within the squad. This inspired the fellow new arrival to harbor a bling of his own to show solidarity towards his new team. This ultimately transpired into Hardman getting a Jets chain for himself, twinning with A-Rod ahead of the new season.

Woody Johnson may have been inducted into the Jets Chain Squad in the offseason. But he will hope A-Rod and Co can help him bring back the SB to the New York Jets.
