And it looks like he is on one such virtual holiday three days into the new year. While on other occasions it wouldn’t be surprising, the exiled wide receiver’s radio silence on current burning issues in the NFL seems a bit odd.

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver hasn’t said anything on any issue since the turn of the year.

The NFL is currently reeling from the aftermath of a freak incident with the Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin. Hamlin collapsed on the field during the Bills’ Week 17 clash with the Cincinnati Bengals. The NFL world is sending its prayers for the speedy recovery of the starlet. But one person missing from the scene is former NFL star, Antonio Brown.

Brown, who is normally quick to react to anything under the sun, hasn’t said a word about the incident. The former NFL star hasn’t tweeted from his Twitter account since the year 2023 started. And many fans would be eagerly waiting for his take on the matter.

Another matter that the fans would like Brown’s opinion on is his former best friend, Tom Brady. Brady and the Buccaneers made it to the playoffs after initially stumbling all throughout the season. And while Brown did react to some of Brady’s losses this season, as is his right to do, he is yet to give his opinion on the division title for his former team. And many fans are waiting for it with bated breath.

AB’s exile from the NFL

Antonio Brown hasn’t featured in the NFL since the start of last year. He left the field in the middle of a Bucs game against the New York Jets and refused to play any further. So, the Buccaneers cut him off their squad a few days later.

After his unceremonious exit from the league, Brown got very active on social media. His takes on the Buccaneers QB and his once-friend Tom Brady became the talk of the NFL world. Brown courted many controversies in that period, including a distasteful take on Brady’s divorce from supermodel Gisele Bündchen.
