Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have a lot of thinking to do after their playoff dreams ended on Sunday night. The Detroit Lions avenged Aaron Rodgers’ insensitive comments by putting their season to an end with a 20-16 win at Lambeau Field. And A-Rod wants to take some time to think about his future in the NFL.

After the loss, the reigning back-to-back league MVP spoke to the press representatives. And understandably, the reporters had a few questions about Aaron Rodgers‘ plans to return to Wisconsin next year. However, despite thinking the wounds are too raw to make a decision right now, A-Rod didn’t vehemently disagree with any notions.

Is it time to step away? Is it time for another voice to be leading this team? Yeah, so I need to get away and contemplate those things.

And the 4x MVP may have also left a subtle and ambiguous sign at the end of the Lions game.

A-Rod held on to his game shirt and refused to give it to another Lions player

A-Rod explained his actions and said that it was a “special shirt” and that Jameson will get a different one over the mail pretty soon. However, that doesn’t explain the special factor of the shirt. Is it the Packers jersey from his final game at Lambeau?

Or is Rodgers going to look at it for inspiration every morning when he wakes up, for next season? The free agency in March will answer a lot of those questions.
