If the Pittsburgh Steelers suffered in the past few games, they might have to deal with it for more. The tenacious faith was to see reigning DPOY TJ Watt, who suffered a substantial slowdown. However, that might not be the case. The All-Pro OLB faced trouble during rehab from a torn pectoral tendon. The process took a twist that delayed his return.
The Steelers OLB sustained a torn pectoral tendon during the Week 1 game. The notion was that he would not need surgery and would be back in action after rehab. TJ Watt faced a bad injury, but the delay would hurt the Steelers, who are already suffering in the games.

As per ESPN, TJ Watt underwent knee surgery to deal with a preseason injury he took into the regular games. The projected timeline for the standout pass-rusher was for six weeks after suffering a pectoral injury in Pittsburgh’s season opener. However, the knee surgery would delay Watt’s comeback by another week or two. The defending NFL Defensive Player of the Year may not return until the Steelers’ Week 9 bye.

Watt underwent arthroscopic knee surgery during the same week that his brother, JJ Watt, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. They had to zap his heart back to its regular pace.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have a dismal time without TJ Watt in the pass rush. They are 0-7 without Watt, which appears to be an issue. The Black and Gold have lost two straight games and are 1-3 as they travel to New York to face the Buffalo Bills.

As a second-round pick in 2017, Washington brought out OLB Anderson. He spent four years with the Commanders (fka Redskins). He has 86 tackles, 6.0 sacks, 15 quarterback hits, one pass defense, five forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. The OLB signed with the Giants but was dismissed a few days later when they reduced their roster to 53 players. He is now substituting for TJ Watt.
