Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s ‘Magical’ 2018 Met Gala Appearance Was Ripped Apart By Die-Hard NFL Fans

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and his wife, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen, enthralled fans over the years at the annual Met Gala. Despite their history of appearances on the grand stage, it was their 2018 outing that grabbed the attention of the fans. While he was catching the eye for the wrong reasons, the former Patriots QB dazzled everyone at the event.

The legendary NFL athlete has even praised his wife for her expertise when it comes to fashion, stating, “Gisele has her own recommendations, and I certainly listen, because if your wife doesn’t like it, then you should probably move on to something else.” He reveals in another interview with People that it was Bündchen, who chose his outfit for the event.

ESPN’s Mina Kimes describes the 7-time Super Bowl champion as a magician trying to cast his magic on everyone present at the event for the night. Brady drew comments online as a ‘James Bond villain’, ‘Dragon Slayer’, and a ‘Chinese New Year calendar’.

Despite these brutal comments, Brady with Bündchen silenced their critics during their 2019 Met Gala appearance. They were seen by the media outlet, She Knows, as ‘the king and queen of the prom’ with their complimentary pink outfits.

The 2018 Met Gala outing was a rare blip in their stunning highlight reel from the event historically.

They have shown consistency like Brady’s NFL career from his early days to the most recent NFL season. However, all eyes will again be on Brady as he enters his 23rd NFL season with the Buccaneers. The fans will hope to win the Super Bowl for a record 8th time.
