The Saturday Night Live – SNL tweeted a hilarious spoof of ESPN’s morning sports debate show, First Take. They discuss Tom Brady amongst other, to say the least, interesting topics. Chloe Fineman impersonating Molly Qerim, hosted the show with Chris Redd, who played Stephen A. Smith, joined by Kenan Thompson, who played Michael Irvin. After the SNL’s Tweet, Twitter blasted with likes, retweets, and comments.

A debate worth pondering on regarding the GOAT Tom Brady

Molly begins the debate by introducing the first topic, Tom Brady: Exceptional or Very Exceptional?”

Stephen A. expresses his opinions, saying he had been thinking about this for a long time and had stayed up all night. He believes Tom Brady is “Exceptional” and further compares him to Peyton Manning.

Michael Irvin held different views from Stephen A. Irvin describes Tom Brady as “Very Exceptional” and believes that Brady is much more talented than Peyton Manning. He adds, “Tom Brady will beat Peyton Manning in a cakewalk.”

One could see Molly remind the hosts that this was a debate show, that it was early in the morning and that people didn’t want to listen to arguments before they have their coffee.

Will Forte, then joins the trio, playing the role of a sports blogger. His opinion differs from both Irvin and Stephen A, and claims that Tom Brady is “Very, Very Exceptional”.

Introducing a new topic for debate, Molly asks, “Brady: Back Against the Wall or Chip on His Shoulder?”

There is still disagreement between the debaters. According to Stephen A., “Brady plays with a chip on his shoulder”, but Irvin believes, “Brady plays with his back against the wall.”

Debate expanding beyond the ‘fields’

Molly brings in yet another hilarious topic for debate, “Apples or Oranges?” Stephen A. responds that he has thought about this question his whole life, and concludes, “Its apples.” In contrast, Irvin favors “Oranges”, as expected. Finally, to conclude the video, Molly sends the guests for a quick break.

Stephen A. treated this video with good humor and even retweeted it.
