The veteran Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz took retirement from the showbiz back in 2014. However, the Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx wants her back in action for a Netflix special. Pondering the question of what could convince her to come back on the big screen, Foxx got an idea. He quickly got the NFL legend Tom Brady on a phone call with Diaz and let the two greats have a chat about the future.

Cameron Diaz couldn’t resist the offer and made a life-changing decision, just like the one Brady made back in March 2022. As a result, Jamie Foxx and the Bad Teacher lead are starring in a Netflix special, initially titled ‘Back in Action.’
Jamie had an exciting phone call with the Charlie’s Angels star in a bid to get her out of retirement. In an interview; she revealed that the stress of staying on set for long hours and disconnection from her loved ones made her retire.

As Foxx started the conversation, he introduced himself and asked what’s been up with her? Responding to it, Diaz said, “Thanks for calling. I’m so anxious right now. I’m, like, pacing the room.” Further, she admits that she does need a few tips on how to return to acting since she is not good at it. Foxx brought the 7x Super Bowl-winning champion on the call and let him do the talking.

Brady said, “I was talking to Jamie, and he said you needed some advice on how to call off retirement. I’m relatively successful at not retiring.” While the GOAT offered valuable advice to her, the acctress says, “Honestly, exactly what I needed.”
