Tom Brady is out of the NFL, but just as a player. The seven-time Super Bowl champion is still equally in love with the game and fans have been eagerly waiting for him to make another un-retirement announcement. But Brady has his eyes fixed on juggling different hats along the way, and the possibility of him lacing up his cleats again is fairly questionable. But he is planning a return of a different sort.

With TB12 gearing up for an ownership role with the Las Vegas Raiders, the fanbase has been hopeful for him to take over as the QB1, especially with the uncertainties looming around Jimmy Garoppolo’s immediate future. And Brady will return, just not in the capacity many would expect him to.

Tom Brady is not leaving the NFL behind

Throughout his 23-year illustrious career, Tom Brady has been the face of the NFL. Maybe that’s why his retirement threw the NFL world into a frenzy as the idea of the NFL without Tom Brady seems unimaginable to a whole generation. However, Fox Sports were quick to jump in and make sure that Tom Brady stays in touch with the game, signing him to a 10-year, $375 Million contract.

Despite committing to Fox, Brady chose to wait until the 2024 season to join the network. While TB12 decided to take his time going into the analyst role, many around the league believe that Brady might not actually go through with it, especially after agreeing to an ownership stake with the Raiders. But Brady recently shut down those doubts.

I’m going to continue to be involved in the sport broadcasting and certainly in other ways but it’s never too far for me you know because I love to I love the sport I love the game I still follow it you know,” expressed Brady during an appearance on the Rich Eisen Show.

Is Tom Brady replacing Jimmy Garoppolo?

Las  Vegas Raiders might be in dire need of a quarterback if Jimmy Garoppolo does not recover to the fullest. As things stand right now, Garoppolo is still nursing a foot injury endured in the previous season and even failed the physical prior to the LV Raiders acquiring him. The Raiders’ front office however ignored this and signed Garoppolo thanks to a waiver that allows them to cut the QB1 if he does not make it back to the playing field. But who would be the potential replacement then?

With Tom Brady acquiring ownership with the Raiders, the legendary signal-caller is well-equipped to take on the role of QB1, but he is not particularly thrilled about the idea.

I still read all the news and transactions and trades and drafts, so forth, and all the different things that have been a part of the follow them so but the actual playing part. I’m definitely tired of getting hit. There’s no more of that I would, you know,” expressed TB12.
