There have been plenty of quarterbacks in the picture when talking about the situation of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, one of the primary opinions is the return of Tom Brady to the Bruce Arians squad. But will he?

Recently BA has been pointing out the possibility of second-tier quarterbacks Kyle Trask and Blaine Gabbert leading the Bucs squad this upcoming season. But is he leaving room for Tom Brady to return by not signing a star player instead? That might be a theory well revised among analysts.

Bucs Insider Rick Stroud in The Rich Eisen Show he stated that if the GOAT, “got to August or September even or you know right at the start of the season, and Tom said he wants to play, they’re going to absolutely own his rights, sometime after June 1st they’re going to put him in the reserve/retired list. He’s going to count $8 million against the cap this year and $24 million he gets the cap in 2023.”

It was a very interesting speculation put forth by Stroud and could be even more interesting if it plays out in reality. However, he also mentioned that he assumes it’s unlikely for him to return since he believes that his retirement is real.

In another instance, he also said that if he retires to play, but for another team, then the “Glazer Family would not hold him up” revealing that it would be San Francisco that would be the next possible destination for Tom Brady to play if he chooses the highway since it’s his hometown team.
