Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have a potential team lined up for them in the 2023 season
According to Mike Sando of the Athletic, the Raiders could be a potential landing spot for Brady after the 2022-23 season. Notably, the current head coach of the Raiders is Josh McDaniels, who was New England Patriots’ former offensive coordinator and worked with Brady for a long time; As per reports, they are really close with each other.
Sando said, “Tom Brady remains among the top quarterbacks in the game and will have options next season if he decides to continue playing… Could he reunite with Josh McDaniels in Las Vegas? Could he finish his career with the San Francisco 49ers, whom he rooted for as a kid? Where would the Buccaneers fit into any decision? So many questions. Not many answers at this early stage.”

Mike Tannenbaum of ESPN also believes that the Raiders could target Brady during the offseason. Previously, the Raiders had the opportunity to sign both Brady and Rob Gronkowski together, according to UFC President Dana White. However, the former head coach of the Raiders, Jon Gruden, did not let it happen.
Earlier in an interview, Gronkowski asked White about the potential deal to Las Vegas. In reply, White said, “I worked to put that deal together for Brady and Gronk to come to the Raiders, and it was almost a done deal… And at the last minute, Gruden blew the deal up and said that he didn’t want him and all hell broke loose, man.”

According to White, Brady was already looking for houses in Las Vegas. White believed the Raiders could have won the Super Bowl in the 2020-21 season; instead, the Bucs got both Brady and Gronkowski and won the Super Bowl.
Despite the rumors, it will be tough for the Raiders to sign Brady, as they have already signed QB Derek Carr on a three-year deal. Moreover, Brady will most probably look for a Super Bowl-winning team, which the Raiders currently are not, as they have a 4-7 win-loss record in this current season.

On the other hand, many teams are offering Gronkowski, aka Gronk, a chance to return to the NFL, including the Eagles. Previously, Gronk talked about playing with only one quarterback, i.e. Tom Brady. So, it will be interesting to see their next teams in the 2023 season. Otherwise, we could potentially see them reunite as analysts at Fox Sports.
