The world of football is in great shock while many grieve his decision to part ways with the sport all of a sudden. However, it would not be much of a surprise to some, especially after NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported it a couple of days ago.

But Brady denied the claims saying he would rather call his retirement himself than announce it through somebody else. Turns out that announcement has come way sooner than people would have expected it.

The quarterback wrote that football needs a “100% competitive commitment” in order to succeed. Brady further went on to say that he is “not going to make that competitive commitment anymore.” His contribution as a quarterback can never be put to words and his career in the NFL can never be replicated.

The GOAT then went on to state that he needs to focus on other dimensions of his life. “I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention,” Brady added.
