Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are one of the biggest star couples in the NFL world. Both go toe-to-toe in terms of net worth and popularity among the fans. Together, they have made several investments in the past. Back in 2008, Brady and Bündchen bought a mansion in California.

The duo invested lots of money and time in reincarnating its beauty and customizing the entire house. But unfortunately, they listed the house for sale to focus on the quarterback’s career back in Boston.

It was a mega-mansion in Brentwood, California, that the couple bought with an investment of $11 million in 2008. Per reports, the couple spent more than four years building the home to their standards.

It had all kinds of state-of-the-art facilities like a gym, eight bedrooms, a six-car garage, a lagoon-shaped swimming pool attached to a spa, and a lot more. The house was more like a fortress, luxurious enough to accommodate one of the greatest football stars in American history.

Bündchen also made sure that she keep the entire property eco-friendly. She installed solar panels and other amenities that would add more beauty to the whole mansion.

By the time it was completely restructured, the couple spent a humongous $40 million over the period of six years. But guess what? All this hard work took no time to perish as the house was listed for sale in 2014 for $50 million. Instead of moving to the Hollywood hills, the duo surprised fans by staying in Boston and decided to sell the property.

It was a move that probably splashed water over Bündchen’s dreams and hard work to focus on Brady’s football career. Indeed, it was the prime time when the veteran was hungry to win the Super Bowl rings and scripting records. A similar instance happened in 2018 when Brady was too focussed on offseason practices and had to leave the field just to look after his kids.

Even though Tom Brady is deemed one of the greatest personalities, it seems there have been times when uncertainties loomed around his personal life. He might be the best player on the field, but the veteran admits he is not a quarterback at his home managing the family. His Supermodel wife, Gisele Bündchen, made sacrifices by taking a halt from her modeling career and looking after the kids.

While speaking in an interview, Brady affirmed that a few years ago, Bündchen came up with an ultimatum that binds him to do his part of the job looking after the family.

“A couple of years ago, she didn’t feel like I was doing my part for the family. And she’s going, ‘When are you going to do things for the house? When are you going to take the kids to school?” He said in the interview. As a result, the quarterback mentioned he had to make a transition in his day-to-day life. “Because of my family, the situation wasn’t great. She wasn’t satisfied with our marriage. So, I needed to make a change in that.” He added to his explanation.
