The 2020 Super Bowl-winning CB recently visited his roots at Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton Township. Murphy-Bunting was hosting a camp for prospective local football players in the area. It was during his visit he shared his thoughts.

While talking with WXYZ Detroit’s Jeanna Trotman, Murphy-Bunting talks about Brady, stating, “That’s TB12, that’s my guy. So, I’m definitely happy to have him back. I don’t want him to ever retire. But obviously, that’s not gonna happen. Tom, I’m gonna make sure you see this video because I’m gonna personally send it to you. Don’t leave us. Please stay with us forever. And I love you, man.

Will Tom Brady play beyond the 2022 NFL season?

The plea from the Buccaneers CB is part of the many voices inside the organization and among fans of the legendary QB. However, the chances of Brady continuing beyond this upcoming season appear low following recent comments about his future. His recent interview with Dan Patrick suggests he is looking forward to learning his trade in sports broadcasting.

The 2022 NFL season could be his last campaign as an NFL QB and the last opportunity for fans to witness his greatness. Despite the questions surrounding his future, his teammates like Murphy-Bunting and fans will rally behind him next season. The aim for the franchise will be to win another Super Bowl title and give Brady his deserving send-off from the top.
