The quarterback later admitted that he was indeed under the influence of alcohol when the incident took place. But Brady and everyone else took it in good spirits. In fact, Brady has referenced the throw multiple times recently as a passing joke.

The Tampa Bay Lightning won the NHL’s top prize by beating the Montreal Canadiens in the Stanley Cup Final. The franchise is now back-to-back champions thanks to their win back in the 2019-20 season as well.

The 128-year-old trophy weighs 34.5-pounds. The Lombardi Trophy for reference weighs a mere 7 pounds. But given his social media antics, Brady was quick with a response himself.

Referring to his throw while intoxicated, Brady replied by saying that everything feels lighter after a few shots of tequila. Tom, we couldn’t agree more.
