Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady might be one of the best ever to cleat up. He’s also one who can tell any draft prospect the nervy anticipation of draft day. The former 199th pick in the 2000 NFL Draft had a strongly worded message for this year’s class. Brady and his rise to the pinnacle of the top are well-documented. He wants the rookies to maintain or even improve the level of competition in the league.
The 7-time Super Bowl champion took to Twitter to share some Draft day motivation for the NFL stars of the future. He states, “I don’t give a s*** if you are a first-round pick, I was 199. If you get a chance to be on the field, don’t mess it up, because you may never get a second one.” Brady wants them to seize this life-changing opportunity to become legends after playing in the league.
