Is it over for Bill Belichick?
The departure of Tom Brady from the New England Patriots has left a void that even the brilliant mind of Bill Belichick is finding challenging to fill. In “The Volume” show hosted by Colin Cowherd, the host highlighted the ongoing issue with the Patriots. He bluntly shared that persistence in the Patriots’ failure might lead to Belichick’s exit.
Colin Cowherd shared on the show, “I don’t think it’s outrageous after the year if Bill steps down and there’s a backdoor deal of some monetary noteworthy monetary value”. Commenting further on the issue, the guest on the show John Middlekauff added, “I just don’t see in the AFC I mean they would have to have the number one defense in the league they would have to just be an incredible special teams team.”
The duo further highlighted Tom Brady’s contribution to the offense facet of the team. Where they concluded by stating the Patriots’ offense is not explosive enough post-Brady’s retirement. However, the long-lived Brady era was a commendable phase for the Patriots and they are still missing it.
