Tom Brady is driving the Buccaneers during the opening quarter of the Football season. With back-to-back victories recently, the franchise has seen a rise. However, they suffered a string of losses that hampered their momentum. They must pick wins because their playoff chances are on the line. But the QB1 may look to implement the 400 rule for the upcoming games.
On Wednesday, Tom Brady arrived for the team’s press conference against the Browns. The Buccaneers QB1 discussed the offensive stance and Julio Jones making moves healthy and in a No. 3 receiver position. The QB1 displayed his calculations and kept the 400 approaches transparent.

Tom Brady mentioned, “You always look at 400 yards of offense as kind of a baseline number… You throw for 250, you gotta rush for 150. You throw for 300, you gotta rush for 100. So if you rush for 150, you know, and you throw for 300 you’ve had a hell of a day. And you’ve still to throw that 350 to somebody and they’ve got to catch for 350, too.”
“Ultimately, it comes down to third down scoring points in the red area, and that’s where you see numbers pick up. And turnovers — you can’t score if you turn the ball over. That’s why it’s a team game. It’s the ultimate team game. The better you run it, you know, the less pressure it puts on the pass game. If you’re not running it, then you’ve got to throw for 400,” He added.
