The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gearing up for their Super Bowl title defense. Led by quarterback Tom Brady the side steamrolled the Kansas City Chiefs to win Super Bowl LV in emphatic fashion.

With preseason training camp now kicking off, the side has turned their attention towards next season. But between tall the grueling hours of practice, the Bucs still manage to find the time to goof around every now and again.

This time, the Bucs‘ social media team went around asking players which one teammate they would not let date their sisters or daughters. While most of the answers were hilarious, Tom Brady had some pretty interesting reasons in his response.

Tom Brady is not letting Winfield date his loved ones
While names such as Scotty Miller, Leonard Fournette, and Devin White were names that popped up often, Tom Brady has an interesting choice. Choosing not to let young safety Antoine Winfield Jr date his daughter or sister, the quarterback explained his reasoning.

“It has to be Antoine Winfield. His dad went to Ohio State, bad decision. Antoine as great as a player he is went to Minnesota, when he could’ve gone to Michigan. So obviously we’re not working with much here,” said Brady.

Lauding Winfield for his performances on the field, Brady said that the safety who is now 22 should look to simply focus on football and nothing else.
“Listen, he’s a young stud. He’s got his whole career ahead of him. He’s gotta focus on football. He’s not gotta be settled down.”

So it’s safe to say that Tom Brady isn’t letting any of his loved ones date Winfield anytime soon. Instead in typical fashion redirecting the safety to focus on his career, the quarterback showed he’s not letting his teammates get distracted.
