The ambitious project will receive direction from Kyle Marvin, who co-wrote the script with Michael Covino. Director Marvin acted in the upcoming Apple limited series WeCrashed while co-writing and starring in the indie movie, The Climb. He will also be executive producing with Covino, under their Watch This Ready banner, with film producer Jeff Stott.

With the project production slated for a start in spring, Brady will be play-acting on the silver screen for the cameras.

Paramount Pictures has a history of success making comedy genre movies with female leads. ‘Success’ seems to be a common denominator when one talks about the production house and Brady, maybe thus their initiative to collaborate. The film becomes another such attempt with the latest script based on a draft by Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins.

The duo is famous for co-writing the coming of age movie Booksmart. Director Marvin will be hoping to recapture that success with 80 for Brady.
