After four years with the Patriots, Ryan and Brady are back on the same team. They now have the same aim for the 2022 campaign as well.
Tom Brady and his Passionate Temper
Logan Ryan spoke to the media during their press conference on Thursday regarding his time in New England alongside Tom Brady. He also recounts the game between the Patriots and the Titans, when the quarterback shattered his headgear during an OTA practice.
He mentions, “I remember my rookie year. Our receiver Aaron Dobson running curl route. He slipped, I picked the ball off. I put a good move on Brady. He might have fell or not, I don’t know. I scored, and he ended up taking his helmet off, smashing it, and breaking his helmet in practice. And this is like April or May.”

He also notes that the OTA interception resulted in an influx of Twitter followers for him. The experience was chaotic and competitive, with Tom simply removing his headgear and smashing it. While on the sidelines, Ryan has seen it, but not during a practice session.

In the 2019 playoffs, Logan Ryan returned a Brady interception, nine yards for a touchdown. He put the finishing touches on Tennessee’s 20-13 wild-card upset of the Pats.

The Pats drafted Ryan in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. The former Rutgers standout has 705 combined tackles, 13.0 sacks, 26 quarterback hits, 18 tackles for loss, 18 interceptions, 95 passes defended, 14 forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in nine seasons.
Former Patriots Ryan and Shaq Mason have recently formed a partnership with Tom Brady in Tampa. On Friday, the Buccaneers formally confirmed their deal for Mason, revealing the exchange of a 2022 fifth-round pick for the veteran offensive tackle. Ryan, a two-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots, has started at least 13 plays in each of the last seven seasons and brings a lot of depth to a Buccaneers backfield that’s been decimated by injuries last year.

After four-year veteran Jordan Whitehead signed with the New York Jets at the outset of free agency, the Buccaneers lacked safety reinforcement. Ryan enlists the help, which includes Antoine Winfield Jr. and Mike Edwards; both of whom are youthful but savvy.
