The leave does not owe to any medical emergencies and is not football related. In fact, before the training camp kicked off, TB12 decided to take a leave of absence. Head Coach Todd Bowles reported about his leave in the following words, “He will be taking anywhere…he will be back sometime around after [the] Tennessee [preseason game]. He’s going to deal with some personal things.”

The Super Bowl-winning QB also does not want to take reps away from Blaine Gabbert, Kyle Trask, and Ryan Griffin as they would get more in practice and in the first two games.
