The ACL injury incident in Brady’s life was a tumultuous one, as it could have led to an early retirement for the 7X Super Bowl champ from the NFL.

Early retirement for the GOAT?

Tom Brady announced his retirement from professional football earlier this year at the age of 45. But there was a time when he pondered over the thought of retiring from the game after he went down with a torn ACL injury in 2008. Once you go down with such an injury, the road to rehabilitation is a tough one. Primarily because you miss out on training as you are recuperating your strength back into your legs. But Brady did not give up, and after having knee surgery and rehab, he bounced back to create the legacy we all know now in the NFL.
