Zuckerberg and Meta are now capitalizing on potential discontent among users of the bird app, presenting Threads as an appealing alternative. Notably, the platform has successfully attracted several prominent sports figures, including five NFL stars, who have already shown their support for Zuckerberg.

Tom Brady, considered one of the greatest quarterbacks ever, caused a sensation in the sports world by joining Threads. He swiftly joined the platform after its launch and engaged with fans by posting his first thread. Rob Gronkowski, Brady’s friend, also joined in supporting the new platform and shared self-welcoming threads. In addition to them, Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, also joined the stage, although he hasn’t posted anything yet.
