Tom Brady has reunited with some of his favorite offensive stars. The QB’s recent update may have revived memories of the indomitable dynasty that was created. Now, if fans were hoping for an on-field reunion, those dreams may be too lofty. TB12, who recently announced his second and ‘final retirement, is seemingly making the best of his downtime.

Establishing a legacy that won’t be overtaken any time soon, Brady is arguably the most accomplished player in his position. Now, the QB is enjoying the fruits of his labor. And his strong ties with former teammates continue to remain unbreakable. Brady’s most recent social media update looked all too familiar in more ways than one. Apart from that, it also carried some historic connotations. So, what did Brady post and why has it caused such a stir?

Seeing Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, and Julian Edelman together may be a defensive player’s worst nightmare. And, their bonds extend off the field as well. Taking to Instagram to post pictures of a beach day reunion, Brady revealed some of the highlights of their special day.

Brady was featured holding a football alongside former teammates Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski. The carousel of photos also included former Bucs teammate Blaine Gabbert. The former quarterback’s three children were also present. Seen shirtless and repping the Brady brand, the QB and his friends’ pictures could be compared to the iconic beach scene from ‘Top Gun: Maverick’.

However, the reunion pictures were symbolic of a historic day as well. The Super Bowl LI matchup between the Falcons and Patriots will go down as one of the greatest comebacks in the game. Down 3-28, the Pats were on the verge of going home without the trophy. But if there’s one lesson that was learned that day, it was never to underestimate the power of TB12’s magic. Making a fourth-quarter comeback, Brady and the Patriots leveled the score and pushed the game into overtime, and went on to take the victory. Coming back to the present, Brady’s pictures with his former Patriots teammates were posted on the 28th of March. The 28-3 symbolism, whether on purpose or by coincidence, lives on.

Fans gushed over Brady’s post

The NFL world thronged to the comments section of Brady’s Instagram post. Seeing the QB alongside his favorite teammates garnered some excited reactions. One fan compared the pictures to the original Top Gun volleyball scene by saying, “Top Gun Volley Ball scene vibes.”

Rob Gronkowski himself stepped in to comment, “Just some old retired guys relaxing here, nothing to see folks”

Seeing Brady thriving with his former teammates is a welcome sight for fans, especially after months of speculation surrounding his split from Gisele Bündchen.
