Buffalo Bills during their 6-31 win against the New Orleans Saints on Week 12 lost their star cornerback Tre’Davious White to a knee injury in the second quarter of the game. The cornerback was sidelined for the rest of the game and was replaced by backup Dane Jackson when the Bills were up by 10-0.

Losing White is a great setback for the Bills since he is one of the best defensive prospects for the franchise. His absence will leave the Bills vulnerable in the cornerback spot since the 26-year-old brings a unique playmaking acumen to the table.

Tre’Davious White out for the season with an ACL injury
“I hope nothing’s too serious, and I know all the guys in the locker room are praying for him and hurting with him,” Allen told reporters after the Thanksgiving Day game. “You can’t say a single bad thing about that man. He comes in and busts his ass every day.”
However, the cornerback has been reported to have picked up an ACL injury and is said to miss the remainder of the season due to it. The news came as a shock to the franchise since he has contributed tremendously to the 7-4 record of the Bills so far this season.

Buffalo Bills without the star cornerback

The 7-4 Bills will go up against their regional rivals, the New England Patriots, who themselves are 7-4 and just a rank below the Bills in the AFC East table. And so it is going to be a decisive matchup between the two. However, the star cornerback Tre’Davious White will not be a part of it.
