Certainly, what Osborn did was heroics. But the credit also goes to the three other people who were there with him. This isn’t the first time that an NFL player has saved someone’s life.
The helicopter crash rescue
While KJ Osborn did his heroics on the road, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Blaine Gabbert did the same in water. Late last year, the QB and his brothers went on a jet ski trip near Tampa. There they found a few people drowning after suffering a helicopter crash. Gabbert and his brother jumped into action.

They helped rescue four people from the crash near the Davis Island. Everyone involved in the crash survived, thanks to Gabbert, his brothers and the authorities. So, it is true, not all heroes wear capes. Some, like Osborn and Gabbert, wear helmets.
