“So I’m definitely trying to be that guy, I try to be that leader…and I feel like I took on that role really well, man. And there are some that don’t happen overnight, you know, just something I had to really work on, and really just try to understand my teammates to help us, you know, get to where we need to be,” David said on the show.

Lavonte David is now one of the highest-paid linebackers in the NFL. Along with Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Shaquil Barrett, Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin, Lavonte is part of the core group of players in the Tampa Bay locker room.

Coach Arians and DE Todd Bowles will look to improve an already impressive defense in 2021. Can Lavonte play his role as a leader on the football field for the next 2 years and go out with multiple Super Bowl rings? We don’t see why not.
