In a recent reveal, a leading NFL quarterback has shown his love for tattoos. The sports celebrity has gone full length with a lengthy arm sleeve inkwork. The impressive artwork has taken the Instagram audience by storm with fans heaping praises and omen for luck. The Miami Dolphins star has covered his right arm with a hectic tattoo. Fans were quick to spot the new addition to the quarterback’s arsenal ahead of the Dolphin’s practice session on Wednesday.

NFL players embody their style statement. Each player to their own, has a unique fashion sense. While some may go with the bling, others may opt for more sophisticated accessories, tattoos, and signatures. Of late, tattoos have become commonplace for NFL athletes. These stars love to highlight their ideologies, religion, spirituality, and other ideations through creative inkwork.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has taken a liking for body art. The NFL athlete was always fond of tattoos. It was evident on his right shoulder during a minicamp earlier this year. Later on, Tagovailoa kept the fans guessing by wearing a sweatshirt and giving a tease with inkwork covering his right wrist. Born in Hawaii, Tua has grown up with strong cultural values. He admitted that he holds the values dear to his heart.

The extended tattoo art is a cultural tribute to Tua’s Polynesian (Samoa) heritage. Tua took inspiration from Hollywood actor Dwayne “Rock” Johnson for the sleeve work. Furthermore, in the bygone days, in Polynesian culture warriors and high-ranked chiefs had a tattoo sleeve. The artwork is also a personification of the critical position that Tua plays in the NFL. The QB is known for revamping himself and bringing modifications. He also learned jiu-jitsu as part of functional training for better protection of his head as well as the body.
