Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa made a name for himself in 2020. The former Alabama Crimson Tide superstar displaced veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick as a first-choice starter midway through the season. Despite a couple of eye-catching displays, Tagovailoa could not manage to lead the Dolphins to the playoffs in his debut season.
But the youngster did enough to convince HC Brian Flores that he can be a future franchise quarterback in Miami. The Hawaii-born athlete was handed the full-time starter role ahead of the 2021 NFL season.

Tua Tagovailoa did enough to hand Miami Dolphins their first win of the season in the opening week. He threw for 202 yards with 1 passing touchdown against 1 interception to defeat divisional rivals, New England Patriots, by a 1-point margin.
But his second game of the season ended on a sour note. Tagovailoa was knocked out of Miami’s 35-0 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday after taking a hit from Bills defensive end AJ Epenesa in just the 2nd drive of the game.
