Joshua, who worked alongside his brother and father at the esteemed Mavid Constructions, had been contracted by Miron Construction to work at the stadium. This project is reported to have a projected duration of nearly six months for completion. Tragically, Joshua was working on the north-end scoreboard when the accident occurred.
Neither his sibling nor his father were present during the tragic incident that claimed his life. After his untimely death, the 27-year-old carpenter is remembered for not only his selflessness but also for his courageous steps that helped a young girl in need.
That young girl would have committed suicide if it wasn’t for Joshua
Joshua’s mother revealed in the same interview that he assisted a young girl from his high school when she was getting bullied. Bobbie Joe added that the girl confided in her, expressing that if it hadn’t been for Joshua, she might have contemplated suicide. The girl now lives elsewhere but promptly made the journey to see Joshua after the tragic incident.
Although the incident had taken place last month, details are being made public only recently. The incident is being thoroughly investigated by the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration and could take up to six months.
